What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a treatment which targets the factors responsible for hair growth; and content of vitamins and proteins in the scalp. In this procedure, with the use of dermaroller, mesogun or insulin syringe, multiple microholes are created over the scalp and through these microholes, some hair growth stimulating nutrients (anti hair-loss solution, stem cell serum or platelet rich plasma) are injected into the scalp.

This process helps to increase the blood supply in the full scalp area. It even enhances the metabolism of cell and speeds-up the growth of existing hair follicles and promotes the new hair growth. This treatment has been found to be quite effective in many patients of hair fall or hair loss.

  • Selection of Solution: Customize a solution containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nourishing ingredients based on individual needs and assessment.

  • Scalp Preparation: Thoroughly cleanse the scalp to remove impurities that could hinder solution absorption.

  • Injection Technique: Administer the solution directly into the scalp using fine needles or a mesotherapy gun, spacing injections evenly across the treatment area.

  • Post-Treatment Care: Provide patients with post-treatment instructions, including avoiding hair washing for a specified period and following a gentle hair care routine.

  • Follow-Up Visits: Schedule multiple sessions of mesotherapy treatment, spaced several weeks apart, to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.

  • Maintenance: Advise patients to follow a customized hair care regimen and lifestyle modifications to maintain treatment results.

  • Assessment of Results: Evaluate patient response over time and adjust the treatment plan as needed based on progress and goals.

  1. Avoid Washing Hair: Refrain from washing hair for 24 to 48 hours post-mesotherapy to allow full absorption of the injected solution into the scalp.

  2. Gentle Hair Care: After the initial period, use mild, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to cleanse hair gently, avoiding scalp irritation.

  3. Minimize Heat Styling: Reduce the use of heat styling tools to prevent stress on the scalp in the days following treatment.

  4. Sun Protection: Shield the scalp from direct sun exposure with a hat or sunscreen formulated for the scalp to prevent UV damage, preserving treatment results.
